All Things Bright and Beautiful #review #giveaway #AllThingsBrightAndBeautiful #Flyby

I would like to share with you, another summer reading book for our family : All Things Bright and Beautiful.
"All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all."

Many of you probably remember that this is one of the hymns that has become a mainstay of churches and Sunday school classes. Here artist Katy Hudson brings new joy to the words with her fresh and bright watercolor style. Readers can join in the fun as they follow two little girls and their brother on a day filled with the discovery of "all things bright and beautiful."

Both of my children love music and singing. Reading this book to them is like kill two birds with one stone. lol They both love the colorful pictures in each page and singing instead of reading is a plus. They both really enjoy this book.

The author of this book is Katy Hudson. She was raised in Middlesbrough and started her Illustration career as a small child drawing on freshly emulsioned walls around the house! Her parents quickly dissuaded this medium and encouraged drawing with pencil and paper instead.

The idea stuck (the pencil was updated to an ink pot and pen in some cases) and after some lovely time at Art College and a degree in Illustration Katy is now a freelance Illustrator working at a desk in an old London library.
