GeoSafari Jr. Great Excavations Turtle #Review #giveaway

If you have read my earlier post about the GeoSafari® Jr. Splash 'n' Catch™, you also would like to introduce you to another fun toy we received.




GeoSafari Jr. Great Excavations Turtle is a great toy for our little explorers to discover and exam something in the backyard, beach, or playground. Anywhere that has sand or dirt work! This item comes in a shape of turtle. The 4 legs of the turtle are special kid-friendly tools : mini shovel, brush, 2x magnifier, and tweezers. The shell itself is a sifter. When we went to the beach last week, we also had a lot of fun using this toy. We sift sand and found seashells, crabs and worms (ewww..). We found that the shovel is a little too small and we ended up using the sifter to scoop up sand instead.

The snap-in legs make it easy to store all the parts. Each of the leg has symbol so that we know where to snap each leg back. The turtle measure 5.5" wide and 8.5" long so it is not very big. I thought it seems to be a little small but when the kids started playing with it, I would say it is a good size for them.
