For us, ever since my oldest kid was a baby, we joined summer reading club at the library in town. Since we are in summer reading club, we love to introduce our readers to some of the book we read.
I have a very cute children book to recommend. "Would a Worm Go on a Walk?" was written by Hannah C. Hall and Illustrated by Bill Bolton.
The beginning of the book is very cute and made my kids laugh. My daughter kept answering me each question in this book. At the same time, she made a funny curious face. This humorous and imaginative picture book introduces children to the idea that animals are uniquely created by a loving and wise God. It is a fun way to teach young children that God created all things and they are all very good. He gave all the animals, and children, too, wonderful qualities and unique strengths. My daughter does giggle over the ridiculous scenarios presented in this book.
Page count: 32
Perfect Reading age: 4-7
About the author:Hannah C. Hall is the author of best-selling children’s books, including God Bless You and Good Night and God Bless Our Christmas, as well as an award-winning blog, HannahCHall.com.Hannah lives in Prairie Grove, AK with her husband, Josh, a worship pastor, and their four children
This great book is on sale for $12.79 on Better books website: http://shopbetterbooks.com/would-a-worm-go-on-a-walk. This is another book that will make a good summer reading time fun. Elias loves all the colourful pictures in every page. (Me too.)
