Gift Guide : Fun Classic nursery Rhyme with the Secret Mountain #review #GiftGuide #Giveaway

When I was young, I never have a chance to study music as I would love to. Now as I am a mom, I would love to support my kiddos to learn music. Last year, I have got "Listen to the Birds-An introduction to Classical Music" from the Secret Mountain which was released the Parents' Choice Gold Award-winning book. This year, they just had another book came out called "I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly".

This book comes with musical CD, very different from Listen to the Birds though. Though it is different, yet it is a very fun book to read. My daughter loved it right away, so did I !
When I began to read the book aloud to my daughter, my husband started to say the rhyme from the other room. Having grown up in Thailand I had never heard
"I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly" before but seems like everyone in North America knows it very well. I showed it to my BFF the next day, she knows it right away too.

Check out this trailer.

I love that the book was illustrated beautifully by PisHier. My daughter jumped right on to my lap when I started reading the book. She was very interested in the book right away. There are 12 songs by Mills who is a Canadian folksinger, writer, actor and radio host.

This is a 44 pages hard cover book. CD duration is about 39 minutes. Recommended for children age 3-8. My daughter just turned 3 and seems like it is just suit for her. She started to sing after she heard the song for the 3rd time.

For someone who looking for an idea to get your kids who loves reading and love music, this will be perfect gift for her/him. Suggested retail price is at $22.95. Also available to download on iTunes for $9.99 and on iBooks for $7.99.

The best part, one of my lucky reader will win a copy of this book. This giveaway open to USA and Canada. Please enter through the form below. Good luck!
