Gift Guide: Have fun playing Squashed #review #giveaway #GiftGuide

I love playing games with friends and family. It doesn't matter who wins or looses. What matters is quality of time that we get to spend together.


I got to try out Squashed, a game from PlaSmart Inc. We had a lot of fun trying out this game. It is for 2-4 players and recommended for ages 6 years old and up. It has been selected as one of the winners in the Top 15 Family Games in 2014.

After we tried this game, my sister-in-law who is a teacher, thought it might be a little complicated for children aged 6. She said the students she works with wouldn't be able to play this game very well. They will be able to play but wouldn't be able to apply strategy since you have to think in 3 dimensions. (But it's worth a try and force them to think!) My 9 years old niece was trying out this game with us. She was able to understand how to play the game and can play this game strategically. And for us, grown ups, we really enjoyed this game. The game doesn't take long to finish. It is loud, very competitive and super fun.
