The Spirit of God Illustrated Bible with Giveaway #SpiritofGodBible & #FlyBy

I was just talking to my sister-in-law today about the Bible for children. She was looking for a Bible to read with my nieces and nephew before bed time. She mentioned that she would like a Bible that has great pictures, not too many words on each page so that the kids will not give up while she read to them, and still has fact from the Bible.

When I came home, I found this, The Spirit of God, Illustrated Bible at the door step. I think this Bible will be the one that my sister-in-law looking for. It fulls with pictures that suitable for young children. There are not too many words on each page but it is enough to tell the stories from the Bible. Each story in the book, starts with a Bible verse and refers back to where we can find the story in the Bible.

It might choose just main important stories from the Bible. As I read it to my daughter tonight, we read the last supper story. Then the next story talks about the end of the crucified day. I found it skips quite a bit. If you are looking to read more details, this book might not be the one for you, but if you are looking to introduce the Bible to a young readers, I think this is a good one for you.

Author Bio: Doris Rikkers is a freelance writer and editor who has written many bestselling children’s books and Bibles. Although she loves the ocean, she lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan, surrounded by her books, her flower gardens, and her family and friends. Illustrator Bio: Spanish artist Fernando Juarez illustrates children’s books and works as an art supervisor at the Madrid studio Ilion Animation. The company produces 3D feature films for children. Fernando has three kids himself, and if he has any time left after work and family, you might catch him playing guitar in a rock band.
