10 ways God is different from us #NoneLikeHim

I was offered to review None like Him book not too long ago. The title of the book caught my attention and made me wonder what is Jen Wilkin is going to talk about.

Obviously I know that we are different from God but I can't really tell much about our differences. Jen is able to help us understand a foundation for knowing and relating to Him. She came up with 10 ways God is different from us and why that is a good thing.

She divided this book into 10 chapters.
1. Infinite : The God of No Limits
2. Incomprehensible : The God of Infinite Mystery
3. Self-Existent : The God of Infinite Creativity
4. Self-Sufficient : The God of Infinite Provision
5. Eternal : The God of Infinite Days
6. Immutable : The God of Infinite Sameness
7. Omnipresent : The God of Infinite Place
8. Omniscient : The God of Infinite Knowledge
9. Omnipotent : The God of Infinite Power
10. Sovereign : The God of Infinite Rule

I found that this is a very easy reading book. Jen uses many Bible verses and some life experiences to help us see and understand who our God is. It is such an eye opener to me. Each chapter ends with verses for meditation, questions for reflection and encouraging us to write a prayer to the Lord. In the back of the book has a few pages for us to write personal reflections after we read. Jen Wilkin did a really good job in inviting us to celebrate the freedom that comes when we rest in letting God be God.
