Our family loves Christmas. My husband has been given the name, Mr. Christmas. Since we moved into our new home, all he wanted to do is decorate our whole house and get it ready for this special time of the year.
Every year during this time, our family loves watching Christmas movies. This year, we got a chance to review the DVD; Coming home for Christmas. This DVD will add to our Christmas collection DVDs and will probably have to watch it every year.
Here's a little bit about the movie:
After their parents separate, 2 estranged sisters who haven't been on speaking terms reunite in hopes that having a family Christmas all together for the first time in years will bring their Mom and Dad close again. They plan to do this in their old family home...the only problem is someone else lives there now.
All the actors and actress in this movie are professional singers. They all have such a good voice. Many of them are Canadians as well. Actually the 2 sisters in this movie,Carly Mckillip and Britt Mckillip, they are real sisters in their real lives. We were fortunate to meet them earlier this year! They came to Abbotsford on Canada day and did a great concert for us. They have the band name "One more girl".
As we watched the movie, we both were trying to guess where is this movie was filmed. It looks a lot like Canada. It is very beautiful. Sure enough, this movie was filmed in British Columbia.
We love the story line. It is such a perfect Christmas movie. I also love the love story between Kate and Mike. It reminds me when I and my husband were dating. <3
