The annual #TreatsForToys program Kellogg’s Rice Krispies #Giveaway

This is the fourth year that our family participate in Treats For Toys program. It became our family traditional. I was looking forward to turn our Rice Krispies to toys with my daughter. Finally, we received the package from Kellogg's. My daughter was so excited when I told her this morning that, "We are going to make Rice Krispies today." She waited all day long until we got home. While we drove home from school, we were talking about what would we make this year. She loves mermaid and very into it this year, so she decided to make a mermaid again just like last year.


For some of you that never heard about Treats For Toys program, this is an awesome program from Kellogg's Rice Krispies. They partnered with The Salvation Army to encourage Canadians across the country to create a toy-shaped Rice Krispies treat and share a photo on TreatsforToys.ca, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #TreatsforToys.

Every photo uploaded or shared on social with the hashtag above, Kellogg’s Rice Krispies will donate $20 to The Salvation Army for the purchase of an actual toy for a child in need. It is a very cool program that you can be a part of it.

    Oh your mermaid is so cute, I think I would copy your idea! My girls love princesses so I figured we would try the princess, but my youngest especially loves Ariel so now that I have seen your idea maybe we will do a mermaid princess instead! She will LOVE it!
