FINDING NOAH The Movie #review

I always wonder since I became a believer, where exactly the Noah's Ark stop according to the Bible. The movie: Finding Noah is coming out on Oct 8th, 2015. This is only for one day in selected theater. I think this is a very interesting documentary worth watching.

Follow by the information in this DVD, there have been many attempts for human trying to find Noah's Ark. Few have been able to fully explore the one place specifically noted in the Bible: Mount Ararat. It is located in Eastern Turkey. Agri Dagh or "The Painful Mountain" is the tallest mountain in the region, geo-politically unstable hot spot. With constant threats of deadly rock slides, hidden crevasses, and glacial ice falls, the Kurdish Rebel held mountain poses great risk to any explorer, let alone those performing a thorough scientific investigation.

It sounds like a very dangerous place to go visit. But Brent Baum, the director and producer of this film, and his crew went up to Mt. Ararat's desolate summit to film this movie for us. There, using state of the art technology and real-time satellite imagery, this team of archeologists, scientists and professional mountaineers will begin a grid work of exploration unlike any before, hoping to finally resolve the age-old question: did Noah and his Ark actually exist?

I and my husband have a chance to watch this film before it comes out on October 8. I have to say that this is a very well done and very interesting film. The hike alone to go up was very interesting. We both are hikers, seeing what have they done to film this movie was amazing. Now it's your turn to watch this film to see what happened up there on Mt. Ararat.
